Van`s has started taking orders on the finishing kit. We went ahead and placed our order for our kit. I had to call them for something related to the build and I asked some questions about the finishing kit like what it would include. The response was that they did not have details now and that they would know more in June... The lady I talked to said they are expecting to ship the kits in July.
So a bit of a delay but thats alright. The plan is to paint the airplane in pieces so that will take up some of the down time. In this update more interior painting was done as well as the canopy release mechanism was built.

Harbor Freight engine stand allows for fuselage to be rotated . This will be
very helpful when I am painting .
