Flaps and ailerons.

Two flaps and an aileron....what to do?   I know, another aileron!
Ready to complete the left aileron.

That piece of stainless steel pipe in the leading edge of the aileron is the counterbalance.
Rob the riveter.

Taught my big brother, Clarke how to back rivet.  (stiffeners to the aileron skins)
Rob and myself making aileron hinges.

Marking the aileron stiffeners before cutting.

Both flaps complete!

Match drilling the Left Flap nose ribs.

Clecoing the Flap trailing edge extrusion to the lower flap skin.

I don't know what  the weather outside is doing, and I don't care!

Flap hinges and ribs get fitted.

Flap skeleton all clecoed up!

Here the end rib is clecoed in and a flange adjusted to match the leading edge skin angle.

Started on flaps.

Prime time!  Hope everyone had a great Independence Day!

It is very important to buff the radiuses of any nose ribs.
Failure to do so will lead to a crease in the leading edge.

Started working on the flaps.  Here I cleco hinge parts together for match drilling.
Preparing to match drill a flap nose rib to a doubler.

Dynon heated Pitot and AOA probe all plumbed, wired and installed.
